What diet will work best for me?
First I want to change the way we think about the word “diet”. The toxic diet culture we live in has made the word diet an ugly word filled with shame and guilt. By definition a diet just refers to the foods a person eats. Toxic diet culture has placed foods into a good and bad category, or clean vs dirty. Food is just food. Some foods may have more nutritional benefits but if you are eating something to soothe your soul that is absolutely fine. There is no one diet that will work for everyone. Its all about learning what foods are best for you.
When I reach my ideal weight I will be happy.
How many times have you said this to yourself? How many times have you started a new food regimine and then ate something that was not on the “approved foods list” and felt horrible about yourself only to start on a downward spiral of eating everything in sight. My hand is raised! I have put so much emphasis on the size and shape of my body over the years, only to look back on the pictures to think, why wasn’t I happy then? The body you have now is perfect. If you want to eat more nutritious foods or move your body more those are great choices but it’s most important to appreciate your body the way it is now.
How do I eat a plant based diet?
I want to eat more plant based foods, but I don’t know where to begin. There is a lot of pressure these days to eat more plant based foods not just for health but for the environment and yes of course for the animals. I would love to show you how you can incorporate more plant based foods into your diet and how to organize your plate to crowd out those animal products. Protein is always at the top of everyone’s mind. Let’s talk about it.

What is the best movement to get the ideal body I want?
So much emphasis is put on hitting the gym and working our bodies to the max to get the body we want. If we aren’t running miles a day and practicing hours of yoga every week and meditaing to clear our minds we are doing it wrong. No! Everybody is different and every body needs different movement just like everybody needs different foods. Stop putting pressure on yourself and just go out and do something you enjoy!
I was just diagnosed with breast cancer, what do I do now?
I know this is a very scary time, I have been there. It can be very difficult to navigate this. Everyone has an opinion about how you should eat or handle Chemo or rcover from surgery. You know your body best even though it feels like a foreign object that has betrayed you. You can do hard things. I can help you navigate through the treatments and the surgeries and help you keep on living after it is all over.
